Added some 808s, a thick bassline, and some complimentary strings to give this some low end to ride out to with the windows down in your whip this summer. Also added Juicy J and Koopsta. I love how this turned out. Just a simple re-contextualization on the original piano version of “Acura Integurl”. I had a heated IM conversation with a friend who accused me of insensitively trying to “FIX” Frank Ocean’s song or something which is not the case. The original song is completely dope as it is. I’m not sure how I slept on Banana Seat for so long, but I’m sad that I did. Made up of the Fully Fitted homies Ghostdad and Durkin (I personally think they shoulda bit the Dunkin Donuts logo and went with the group name DURKIN DADNUTS) making Contemporary-Sounding-Throwback-Big-Beat-House-Rave-$hit, they’ve been killing it lately with excellent originals and remixes like the “Witch Doktor Remix” above and an EP of originals called “Drop It In” available on iTunes now.
