Uncle Jesse *GLEN TECH EP* Available Now!

Back like cooked tomatoes, today marks the release date of the spectacular *GLEN TECH EP* by Baltimore duo Quincy and Noteman who make up the group Uncle Jesse. We’re really excited about this EP and the way it successfully brings together the Bmore duo’s influences—from Tech House and Electro to Drum n Bass, Bmore Club, and classic Chicago Filter House. We even have appearances from two absolute legends in the Baltimore Club scene—KW Griff who pops by for a grand remix of the title track, and godfather Scottie B who co-produced a track with the Uncle Jesse boys. Emynd did a hard-as-hell Philly style club mix as well with way too many Lil Jon “Whats.” Already getting support from some of the biggest DJs in Baltimore and abroad, it’s another truly unique release from the CFB boys.

Check the 10 minute promo mix hooked up by my man Tha 1 Who Trevs and feel free to download, blog, and share these two tracks:

Them Jeans BEEF EP Available!

Steve Aoki: Two sweet groovy joints from the tallest dj I know!
Sinden: Flying rats is fresh!! supporting this!
Malente: “Flying Rats” It eats your brain. YE$! ¥ES! Y€S!
DJ Neoteric ( Dubsided ): Feelin this release! Great remixes as well. For one time in my life I WANT Beef! The percussion in flying rats is slick! Full support!

Gonna keep it short for y’all today, but we’re back again with another huge release from the tallest DJ in the west, Them Jeans that is AVAILABLE NOW. Check the promo youtube above, but we got four massive songs for the biggest rooms possible on this release: Them Jean’s original compositions “Beef” and “Flying Rats” and two stunning remixes of “Beef” courtesy of Them Jeans’ LA party bros Dan Oh and Bobby Evans from Brother Reade. Dan Oh hits you over the head with a Bass-heavy romper while Bobby Evans takes another route, patiently producing a nearly 10 minute Tribal House anthem that’s straight out of the early 90s! But the real star here is Them Jeans himself, who treats us to two original Big Room House stompers that have everyone from Malente, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Sinden losing their shit. Also attached in the zip, we have an internet only Bmore remix by CFB head-honcho Emynd that isn’t available on the digital EP.

As always, we’re circulating a couple tracks from the EP on the blogs so please feel free to post them wherever you like.

Them Jeans “Beef (Emynd Bmore Remix)” (Mediafire 320)

Them Jeans “Flying Rats (Original Mix)” (Mediafire 320)

You can purchase the EP at these fine locations! We appreciate your support immensely! I know y’all know how to download these songs somewhere or other, but what really keeps us going is the fact that people are willing to support our releases! And we appreciate it!

Them Jeans *Beef EP* Next Week!

Hot damn, CFB is really starting 2010 off massive! A couple weeks ago we dropped the smash So Shifty *Wine Touch Clap* EP that has everyone from Diplo to Sinden singing its praises and next Tuesday, we got the tallest man in the scene Them Jeans amazing excursion into Big Room House territory with his *Beef EP*. These two releases are my favorite to grace the CFB landscape but before we spill the beans with snippets of the new Them Jeans release, let’s make sure you’re all caught up on the gems the man has blessed us with up to this point.

So Shifty *Wine Touch Clap EP* Now Available

And today, we bring you the future! I’m so excited to introduce the world to So Shifty with their very first official release of their own original material here in the *Wine Touch Clap EP.* Everyone from Sinden to Diplo to Radioclit have been showing support to these dudes for months, and I’m so psyched this release finally came together. Featuring Ward 21′s Kunley, Tifa, Timberlee, and Natalie Storm (aka TNT) on vocal work, each of the three originals has a really unique and yet totally consumable vibe: these songs are forward-thinking yet accessible. The remixes all bang too: Them Jeans’ phenomenal Big Room House remix is absolutely massive while I provided a New Orleans Bounce remix that I think works quite well while French wunderkind Douster and the So Shifty boys round out the release with two more great remixes. Peep snippets of each song in the Youtube video above and then go cop that shit!

The OG “Wine,” and the Them Jeans Remix, are both below for y’all to download, blog, and distribute as you please. The rest of the EP can be purchased with the links below. If you blog the song, please provide links for purchase.

Lil B “I Want Your Bitch” (Prod by Emynd)

So I flew out to the Bay this summer to build with young homie Lil B the Based God (aka Lil B from The Pack aka “the Rawest Rapper Alive”) who is not only the king of Myspace (over 100 myspace pages!), but he’s also one of the nicest, most genuine, interesting, good hearted, and talented people I’ve ever met. Truly blessed to have this dude in my life. He definitely makes some eccentric music and I’m really happy to be working with dude. The first youtube posted above is a song we threw together this summer that we didn’t really get to finish up, but he went ahead and threw it on his latest mixtape 6 Kiss anyway. I ain’t mad though! It sounds kinda good even though there’s some really rough bits–kind’ve adds to the aesthetic. That being said, most of “6 Kiss” is substantially better than this track (and not quite as uhm, vulgar?). Need proof? Check the video for “Myspace” also above which is a tremendous mixtape cut. B just murders it on that ish.

But, anyway, consider this an introduction to me and homie. Hopefully we’re going to be building on a lot of stuff in the future and I’m really excited about it. He’s all over the place musically these days working with folks as disparate as Soulja Boy and Diplo on the latest Gucci tape. I’ve posted our song for download below if you’re into it, but please support the dude by copping the “6 Kiss” album on Amazon (by the way, I’m Thraxxx is also worth your money!). I’ve really never met a kid more devoted to putting out art and he really puts everything into it. There’s nobody in the world I want to succeed more than Lil B and I really encourage you to support artists like this with your hard earned cash.

Don’t forget to follow his ass on twitter!

I’ve posted a promo youtube above with a snippet of each song (and click after the jump to peep full length Youtubes videos of each song) but this is the first of many Hip-Hop releases soon to come on CFB. Kennedy weaves his way through each beat. Featuring remixes by Emynd, Scott Matelic, and new CFB signee Them Jeans, we’re all really excited about this EP.

Today, we’re sharing Brother Reade’s original “Southern Boy” mix as well as Emynd’s “Southern Man Remix” and we invite you to blog and distribute these two songs freely.

Mike 2600 *READY TO ROCK EP* Available Now!

Today marks the release date of another fantastic release on our lil’ ol’ label here at Crossfaded Bacon HQ. This time we’re taking it back to them Old School Disco Party Breaks with Mike 2600′s *READY TO ROCK EP*. Mike himself created the hilarious and fun Promo video above of the title track on the EP, and I think it gives you a great indication of what this EP is all about with its Old School party vibes and editing. As you’ll notice quickly, each of the original songs on *Ready To Rock* are very clearly inspired by the innovative cut & paste mixes of Double Dee & Steinski, the Disco Rap aesthetic embodied by labels like West End and Enjoy Records, the spaced-out disco sounds of Cloud One, and even the raw sounds of ’60s garage and psych rock. If you didn’t already know, Mike 2600 is already a well known figure amongst some of the world’s biggest DJs (organizing the annual DO IT TO IT party at SXSW and helps compile the accompanying vinyl EP featuring remixes from DJs like Tittsworth, Dave Nada from Nadastrom, Crossfaded Bacon’s Emynd, and Bird Peterson) this is his first official solo release. Accompanied by exclusive remixes from CFB boys Emynd and Scott Matelic, we’re really proud to introduce Mike 2600 to the rest of the world with another CFB release that will sound fresh whether played today, tomorrow, next year, or next decade. Oh and don’t forget to follow him on Twitter.

As a gift to y’all today, you can download Mike’s original *Gigolo Rhythm* and Scott Matelic’s Remix below. Feel free to blog these boys or hit us with comments!
