Them Jeans is tall as fuck. Seriously. He’s 6′ foot 8″”. But not only is he one big ass dude, he makes really darn big songs, too. To categorize him as merely another DJ/producer would be to understate his drive and contributions to the current musical landscape in Los Angeles and increasing influence in the global music community. Alongside Steve Aoki, he has been the driving force behind world famous club night Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace for over five years as both a DJ and promoter, helping to showcase acts as eclectic and renown as Justice, Lady Gaga, and Kid Cudi. On his debute release on Crossfaded Bacon, *THE BEEF EP,* Mr. Jeans takes his first step outside the booth to introduce his massive original production work to the world. With pounding percussion, melodic synth lines, and a flare for huge, sweeping drama, the two original songs on this EP can best be described as equal parts Swedish House Mafia and Shawty Redd. Accompanying the two originals, Them Jeans’ recruited his LA partners Dan Oh and Bobby Evans (from Crossfaded Bacon signees Brother Reade) to contribute remixes of “”Beef.”" Dan Oh delivers a huge, bass-driven Electro House riot-starter while Bobby Evans goes a more traditional route with a 9 minute Tribal House re-interpretation that subtley beats the listener into submission. Already recieving support from some of the biggest names in Dance music from Laidback Luke to Diplo to Nadastrom, *THE BEEF EP* is Them Jeans’ first step towards crafting a one-of-a-kind listening experiences that looks toward challenging people’s perception of mainstream music and blurring the line between Dance Music and every other genre imaginable.
